First and foremost, take it seriously! Pretend you are driving a real car where crashing is NOT an option. If every time you strap into your simulator you act as if- "this is real", good habits are built when split second decisions occur on track. You will also train your mind to focus under pressure and maintain focus for extended periods of time. 

Blasting your simulators hepatics, motion and force feedback levels can feel exciting from the new experience, however setting these levels too high can mask a lot of the detail the simulator is trying to tell you about car behavior. When all simulator systems are tuned correctly and working cohesively, the experience is incredible!

On a racetrack a 6point harness does more than just protect you. The tightness of the belts attach you firmly to the car and allow an increased feeling of the suspension, tire grip and G forces.
